Braided Horsehair Bracelet

Rachel weaves and braids horsehair from your own horse's tail to make unique and personnal pieces of jewellery that are a permanent keepsake of your favourite equine. Every piece is individually handmade and therefore no two items are identical.

Each item will usually require a bunch of tail hair approximately the thickness of a pencil and as long as possible.   Taking this amount of tail hair is not noticeable if it is taken from the middle of the tail, it is best taken from just below the tip of the dock.
